Taiwan's OPTC plans to start up new PTA unit

According to media reports, Taiwan’s Oriental Petrochemical Taiwan Co. Ltd. (OPTC) is planning to start up its new 1.5 million tons/year PTA unit in Taouyuan, Taiwan next week.
The company previously delayed the plant’s initial start up in early October to the end of October while awaiting approval to commence operations.
