Traders in Turkey have received lower prices from a Taiwanese ABS producer recently. The producer adjusted its prices down by $40/ton, upon which the seller’s total decrease amount reached $90/ton for May.
The Taiwanese producer’s latest offers are standing at $1730/ton for ABS natural and $1880/ton for ABS white, both CIF Turkey, subject to 6.5% customs duty, cash. “The additional May drops from our supplier did not surprise us considering plummeting styrene and butadiene costs in Asia compared to the start of this month,” noted a trader.
