Taiwanese Kaofu runs HIPS line at 70% after restart

According to sources close to the company, Taiwan’s Kaofu Chemical is running its 50,000 tons/year HIPS line at 70% of capacity after restarting it last week.
On October 8, the company took its HIPS line offline for a planned maintenance and reduced operating rates at its 50,000 tons/year GPPS line at the same location to around 70%.
Sources added that the producer has also ramped up operating rates at its GPPS line to run at 85% capacity.
