Taiwanese major announces March PVC prices to Asia

According to market sources, a major Taiwanese producer announced their March PVC prices to Asian markets with increases from their February done deal levels. The producer increased their offers by $40/ton to India and by $30/ton to China and Southeast Asia. Their increase amounts came in line with market expectations.
Players reported that the producer’s new offers currently stand at $1010-1020/ton CIF India, cash and at $950/ton CFR China/CIF SEA, cash.
A trader in India commented, "PVC demand in India is very good at the moment, especially from the irrigation sector, due to the upcoming summer season. We heard that the major producer has already sold out their March quota to the country."
