Taiwanese producer applies further hikes on PS, ABS offers to China

According to traders, a Taiwanese producer increased its offers to China further by $30/ton for ABS and by $20/ton for PS when compared to last week. The producer’s offers currently stand at $2080-2100/ton for ABS injection, at $1580/ton for HIPS and at $1500/ton for GPPS, all on CIF China, cash basis.

“Despite the fact that spot styrene prices in Asia continue to witness downward corrections, PS and ABS suppliers maintain their firm stance on their offers on the back of healthy demand. The Taiwanese producer’s ABS supplies are still limited,” noted a trader.
