Taiwanese producer cuts PS, ABS prices to SE Asia

An agent of a Taiwanese producer reported that their supplier lowered their PS and ABS prices to Southeast Asia as of today. The producer reduced their prices by $20/ton, bringing their new offers to $1040/ton for GPPS, to $1070/ton for HIPS and to $1140/ton for ABS, all on a CIF SEA, cash basis.
“The market response has been a bit better than we expected,” the agent stated.
In Southeast Asia, import PS prices currently reported at $1040-1080/ton for GPPS, at $1070-1130/ton for HIPS and at $1100-1140/ton for ABS, all on a CIF SEA, cash equivalent basis.
