Thai PTT begins commercial production at mLLDPE plant

According to media sources, Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited began commercial production at its new metallocene LLDPE plant in Map Ta Phut, Thailand.
The company’s new 400,000 tons/year unit was initially slated to commence production by the first quarter of 2018.
The company currently has a production capacity of 800,000 tons/year of HDPE, 400,000 tons/year of LLDPE, 300,000 tons/year of LDPE and 90,000 tons/year of PS.
