According to sources close to the company, Thailand’s PTTGC shut its LDPE unit in Map Ta Phut, Thailand due to mechanical issues on November 28.
At the time of publication, the specific restart date of the 300,000 tons/year unit was not available; although some players believe that the shutdown may last for around 1 month.
