Thailand PTTGC’s Olefins Modification project to start ops in Q1 2023

Thailand-based PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) expects commercial operation of its THB5 billion ($165 million) Olefins 2 Modification Project to start in the first quarter of 2023.
The project will allow the producer to increase propane usage as feedstock and is part of efforts to enhance feedstock flexibility for long-term competitiveness, it said in an exchange filing.
PTTGC added that it had signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement for the project late last week.
