Thailand’s HMC to shut PP lines

According to sources close to the company, Thailand’s HMC will shut its three PP lines in Map Ta Phut in mid-July due to a planned maintenance that is expected to last until mid-August. Each line is reported to remain shut for 10 days and they will be shut one after another.
The company’s three PP lines can produce 200,000 tons/year, 250,000 tons/year and 360,000 tons/year of PP respectively.
