Thailand’s Indorama Ventures swings to net loss in Q1
Indorama reported a net loss of $39 million in the first quarter of 2025, compared to a net profit of $32 million in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA was $276 million, down 23% quarter-on-quarter and 30% year-on-year, including a $12 million impact from winter-related disruptions.
IVL posted consolidated revenue of $3.49 billion in Q1 2025, down 3% quarter-on-quarter and 9% year-on-year.
The Combined PET (CPET) segment, including Intermediate Chemicals, reported Adjusted EBITDA of $126 million, down 43% quarterly and 50% yearly.
