According to market sources, an explosion at a chemical plant in Xinjiang, China has killed three people and severely injured six on December 26.
The explosion occurred at Xinjiang Xinzhi Energy Chemicals’ plant, which reportedly provides carbide to carbide-based PVC producers in the region.
Another explosion at Hebei Shenghua’s PVC facility claimed the lives of 23 people and 22 were left injured less than a month ago.
