Total completes refinery and petchem complex upgrade in Antwerp

According to a statement from the company’s website, French producer Total completed the upgrade of its refinery and petrochemicals complex in Antwerp, Belgium.
Following the upgrade, the company gradually commenced production at its 338,000 barrels/day refinery and petrochemical facility which is able to produce 1.1 million tons/year of ethylene.
The company also revamped one of the two steam crackers at its complex to process ethane.
