Turkey's Petkim cuts PE, PP and PVC prices

According to distributors in Turkey, domestic producer Petkim revised its PE, PP and PVC prices downward today. The producer reportedly decreased its prices by $45/ton for LDPE, LDPE-t grades and PVC, $65/ton for HDPE and $50/ton for PP when compared to its previous levels.

The producer’s new PP offers are now at $1295-1305/ton for raffia, $1305/ton for injection and at $1320/ton for fibre. The producer had last revised its PP prices downward on August 24, 2015.

Petkim’s new LDPE offers are at $1450/ton for G03/5 and F2-12 and at $1440/ton for H2-8 grade. The producer’s new LDPE-t prices are reported at $1430-1455/ton for different LDPE-t grades. The producer had last revised its LDPE offers on August 24, 2015.

The producer decreased its HDPE injection and blow moulding offers to $1445/ton and to $1425/ton, respectively, compared with the levels last revised on August 10, 2015. According to some distributors, the producer decreased its HDPE pipe prices to $1550/ton and its HDPE film prices to $1435/ton.

Meanwhile, the producer reportedly reduced their PVC prices by $45/ton when compared to the levels last revised on August 10, 2015, bringing their new offers to $1070/ton for k67 and to $1100/ton for specialty grades.
