Turkey’s automotive sales rise 5.6% in Sept: ODD

Turkey’s passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales rose 5.6% from a year earlier in the September, according to data from the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD). However, total sales declined 4% to 636,499 units in the January-September period.
Passenger car sales climbed 9% on the year to 51,340 units from 47,088 units in the same month of 2015 while sales of light commercial vehicles fell 4% to 16,253 units from 16.937 units a year earlier.
