Turkey’s capacity utilization rate increases in September

According to data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Turkey’s capacity utilization rate increased to 76.6% in September from 75.2% recorded in August. The rate had been down both in July and August. The September figure was the highest since November 2011 when the rate was at 76.9.
The data revealed that capacity utilization in food and beverages, durable goods, non-durable goods and intermediate goods rose in September while capacity utilization in investment goods remained stable.
