Turkey’s domestic white good sales down, exports up in Nov
During the January-November period, total white good sales in Turkey, including fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, and ovens, fell by 17% and stood at 5.7 million units.
In November, the total number of white goods exports in Turkey increased by 9% and reached 1.84 million units, however, while the total production rose by 4% to 2.24 million during the month.
The Turkish government scrapped special consumption taxes on white goods to boost domestic sales in November this year.
