Turkey’s home sales decline in November
This marked the biggest monthly decrease since July 2016, data from the TurkStat showed.
Istanbul had the highest share of home sales with 17.9% and 16,058 sold house, followed by Ankara (8.7%) with 7,834 units and Izmir (5.3%) with 4,773 units.
In November, new home sales slumped by 31.2% compared to the same month of the previous year and had 45.5% share of all house sales with 40,821 units. Istanbul recorded the highest number of new home sales with 6,977 units, followed by 2,813 new sales in Ankara and 2,135 units in Izmir.
