Turkey to invest $10 billion in industrial park in Iran

The head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), Ali Yazdani reported that the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) plans to make an investment worth $10 billion to build an industrial park in Iran, according to media reports. It will be the first specialized industrial park of Iran that is funded with foreign investment.

Yazdani stated that the exclusive specialized industrial park will consist of 140 production units covering a 500-hectare area and the design of this zone will be conducted by the Turkish side.

The Iranian official said that they have proposed 15 locations for the park and negotiations with Turkey are proceeding.
