Turkish recycling firm Tanrikulu Group has commissioned its first PET bottle-to-bottle recycling system from Vienna-based recycling equipment manufacturer Starlinger, media sources reported.
The unit has a special filter that reduces output waste and increases production. According to the company, the produced bottle-grade rPET pellets will be supplied to customers in Türkiye and foreign markets.
Tanrikulu also owns a facility for PET sheet production in Kocaeli, Türkiye. The unit has a recycling capacity of 40,000 tons for post-consumer PET and 45,000 tons/year for other plastics including PP, HDPE, and LDPE, reportedly.
