Two PP plants restart, one shuts in Middle East

According to market sources, two PP plants have been restarted while another plant was shut down in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia’s National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet) reportedly restarted their 400,000 tons/year PP plant in Yanbu while Oman’s Oman Oil Refineries & Petroleum Industries (Orpic) restarted its 350,000 tons/year plant in Sohar.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s APC reportedly began a shutdown at their 450,000 tons/year PP plant in Jubail. The plant is expected resume operations later this month.
