US Dow’s Q4 EBITDA rises by 20% on higher sales
Higher results were attributed to higher sales and margins thanks to continued recovery in global economy, the company explained in a press release. Net sales increased by 5% from a year earlier to $10.7 billion due to higher local prices and sales volumes.
In the Packaging & Specialty Plastics segment, operating EBIT surged by around 20.5% on a yearly and quarterly basis to $780 million. Net sales reached $5.12 billion, indicating an increase of 6% from a year earlier and 12% from the previous quarter.
