Upcoming PP, PE shutdowns in China

According to a source close to the company, Zhongsha Tianjin plans to shut its 300,000 tons/year LLDPE plant and 300,000 tons/year HDPE plant by August 15 for maintenance. The plants are expected to be offline for 42 days.
Sichuan Ethylene Petrochemical is planning to shut its 450,000 tons/year PP unit on August 15 for maintenance. The maintenance is expected to last around 5 days.
Meanwhile, Guangxi Qinzhou Petrochemical is also planning to shut its 200,000 tons/year PP unit by November and the unit is expected to be offline for around 45 days.
