Vietnam Binh Son Refining posts $54 million Q4 profit

Vietnam-based Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical - which runs the Dung Quat refinery - reported a 16% on--quarter increase in after-tax profit to VND1.25 trillion ($54 million) for the fourth quarter of last year, according to local media.
Output of the Dung Quat refinery totaled around 5.95 million tons, which exceeded the target by 7%.
The refinery - which was closed for 51 days for maintenance - began to turn a profit from the third quarter.
