Vynova to shut PVC plant in Germany for maintenance

According to sources close with the matter, European chlor-alkali products and PVC resins producer Vynova plans to shut its facility at Wilhelmshaven, Germany for a 10-day-long maintenance this month.
The shutdown may add to the already-low stock levels across the board, according to some players in Europe.
The company’s Wilhelmshaven has a VCM capacity of around 400,000 tons/year and a PVC capacity of 380,000 tons/year.
