LATEST NEWS: Taiwanese major notably cuts April PVC offers to Asia

A major Taiwanese producer has announced its benchmark offers for April shipments to Asian buyers with visible decreases. This marked the fourth month of decline in the producer’s pricing, highlighting the current weakness across Asian PVC markets.
The producer reduced its PVC K67 offers to India by $40/ton from March, bringing the price to $700/ton CIF, cash. Offers to China were reduced by $25/ton to $700/ton CIF, cash, while FOB Taiwan offers saw a $20/ton decrease, to be reported at $660/ton. The latest FOB offers to Vietnam and Southeast Asia stand at $650/ton and $655/ton, respectively, according to market sources.
Brisk sales have been reported in India, where volume discounts are applied: $5/ton for 500 tons, $10/ton for 1,000 tons, and $15/ton for 2,000 tons. Meanwhile, the producer has decided not to offer volume discounts to other destinations.
