Saudi producer releases February PP, PE offers to local market
Accordingly, the producer’s new PE offers indicate no changes for LLDPE film grades and SAR38/ton ($10/ton) increases for LDPE film and HDPE inj., film and blow moulding from January. LLDPE prices are stable for a 3rd month while LDPE prices extended their gains into 3rd month. HDPE prices were up following the stable to soft trend of the past two months.
Meanwhile, new PPH offers suggest SAR15/ton ($4/ton) increases for February. Compared to PE, PP remains less strong following only a small increase of last month.
The new offers are as follows (all on FD Jeddah, cash excluding VAT basis):
HDPE film: SAR4013/ton ($1070/ton)
HDPE blow moulding: SAR4200/ton ($1120/ton)
LDPE film: SAR4613/ton ($1230/ton)
HDPE inj.: SAR4088/ton ($1090/ton)
LLDPE film: SAR3975/ton ($1060/ton)
Homo-PP raffia and inj.: SAR3349/ton ($893/ton)
